National Parks

http://www.pbs.org/nationalparks/

I am enjoying the inter-National Television debut of National Parks though I wonder if
all the pre-publicity and Ken Burn's busy PLUG schedule did much other then to stir the
beans. Might it not have been better to share that time with any of the organizations
referred to in the production?

I am watching National Parks with the same enthusiasm I had many years ago when our family gathered about the TV to watch Wonderful World of Disney only this time, we watch it with HI Def TIVO recording and three TV's going in three parts of the house.

I enjoyed the 10 questions page in Life Magazine and admired Mr. Burns desire not to be in the limelight and the reference to the previous administration. Curious though as to why only your youngest daughter accompanied you to The Arches?

I enjoy the series and have heard lots of; wows, never knew that’s', really, I'm going to go there’s' which is certainly refreshing to hear with today’s Television Programming.

Hat's off to Ken Burns co-producer Dayton Duncan.

Two episodes down and four to go and I hope not to miss a second!

Devil's Tower

Well my tenetative trip to Devil's Tower is no longer tentative, I won't be going, my sponsor bailed out because of other unexpected expenditures (the economy). So... I'm free, free to find another sponsor that is!

Brookfield Zoo

Brought my own scooter for my 89 year old mother, to bad you can't get one in the parking lot or at the 'give me your money' first booths. Glad to see you think'n of your guests. Now the San Diego Zoo.... well let's just say they are top rate and it's obvious. Good luck Brookfield. Ya know you'[re marketing hasn't changed much since the 50's but, the way in has, it's under the highway but, my 89 year old mother and I remember walking across the highway to those very same existing gates. What a lost opportunity! Well , I do enjoy being a member and it isn't as far a San Diego. Maybe I should save my membership fees for enough to fly to San Diego?

Signed,
Look to the aniamls, the $ signs might follow.

What's happening to Disney World

I saw a very brief headline about a major renovation / construction project taking place in Disney World, especially in the Magic Kingdom, it's supposed to take two years to complete is this true?

I was hoping to celebrate an anniversary there next year but I've been there done that during these times before and it is no fun!

Maybe I should use my Paris tickets but, I heard it is not the best time for Americans to go.

My first trip to Disneyland last month was fantastic!

Wait, I forgot the knew Disney Resort in Hawaii might be open in 2010 great, maybe I can get a cruise out of San Diego that would work!

To Disney Time Share or is it Vacation Club or not?

This is my question. Convince me I'd love to buy one some day but, what's the catch or catches, why are so many people selling or getting out of Time Shares, not necessarily Disney but in general. What's with don't use it but still pay and lose? Is Disney the best or can anyone Disney? I do know a half dozen people that own one but I never hear anything and I know all of them aren't choosey as to where they stay.

Yes I could do all the research but after years of attending introductions, sending for information, going to see them, chances to win trips, etc. I admit I am still confused and know nothing about them and don't care to get amore pitches so someone please enlighten me.

Treasure

"There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates' loot on Treasue Island and at the bottom of the Spanish Main... and best of all, you can enjoy these riches every day of your life." - Walt Disney The Quotable Walt Disney
