Since I can go a wandering
I'd like to see the sea.
And if I could sail the seas,
I'd love to see the sites but,
take me to a happy place where I can laugh out loud
and then I'll spend a dollar or two to try to take it home but,
my mind it is a wasting and sometimes ain’t worth a bean.
So it's plain to see I need a change and
take the time to see.
Well smell the flowers and don’t be late for
if you are you’ll waste that time for
family, friends and cheer.
So as life passes on I’ll try not forget
to find the time to say hello
or say goodbye and thank you for your time.
